Here are a few more photos from the outskirts of the Olympic green in Beijing last summer. The blue and white buildings seen in front of the National Stadium in yesterday’s photo and today’s first photo are temporary workers’ dorms for the migrant laborers who lived and worked on-site during the construction. The “green” was anything but green, and the air in the neighborhood was orange from the massive amounts of dirt being kicked up from the site. So much was being built so quickly…
